6×12FC-FC(6×12+7FC)
6x12FC-FC

core: fiber core
strand: point contact
steel wire rope for fishing, tying, towing, mooring operations.

The "6x12FC-FC" configuration can also be designated as "6×12+7FC." In addition to a central main fiber core, each of the six strands contains its own independent fiber core (forming a 7FC structure). This design further enhances the wire rope's flexibility, making it highly convenient for manual handling, knotting, and threading.

Within the strands, the wire layers are formed using wires of uniform diameter; while the lay angles of the layers are equal, their lay lengths differ. This results in the wires of adjacent layers crossing one another, creating a "point contact" state where contact occurs only at the intersection points.

The seven fiber cores act like "sponges," capable of storing significant amounts of lubricant; under load, they continuously lubricate the internal wires, thereby retarding rust and wear.
