● core: steel core
● core type: 7×7 or 7×19S
● compacted strand: warrington-Seale
● main hoist rope for gantry crane, STS crane.
● luffing rope and pendant rope for tower crane and crawler crane
● drive wire rope for telescopic boom of mobile crane
The 8-strand construction, combined with WS lay pattern, renders the rope highly flexible; this allows it to accommodate smaller pulley-to-rope diameter ratios (D/d) and ensures a longer fatigue life in applications involving frequent bending over pulleys.
The combination of compacted strands (K) and an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC) results in a high metallic cross-sectional area, delivering a higher breaking strength than standard wire ropes of the same diameter.
The outer wires form a smooth surface that is not only wear-resistant but also protects the pulleys and drums. Meanwhile, the IWRC core ensures the rope maintains its shape and resists crushing or deformation during multi-layer winding on the drum.
