35(W)×7

The 35(W)×7 configuration is a classic type of multi-strand, rotation-resistant steel wire rope. It features a traditional round-strand design with line contact between the wires within each strand. This line-contact structure enhances flexibility and bendability, making it ideal for multi-layer winding and frequent bending applications, as well as for single-rope lifting and high-lift operations.

The rope utilizes a multi-strand construction (with 35 strands laid around a central core), where the lay direction of the inner strands opposes that of the outer strands. Under tension, the rotational torques generated by the inner and outer layers cancel each other out, effectively eliminating the tendency for the rope to twist or tangle when lifting loads.
